Making strides in Taiwan at Formosa 2

Formosa 2 - CASC successfully completes second project out of Taichung

The CASC Renewables team have completed the last stage of works at the expansive Formosa 2 site. Once completed the wind farm will provide 376MW of green electricity to supply power to approximately 380,000 households.

The team have completed ground works and installation of frames for the base tower sections of offshore wind turbines. Our skilled team have worked meticulously with local partners to complete the groundworks before our engineers completed lifting operations to install steel work and torque operations.

Our in house designed and manufactured power container has proved to be a powerful tool in aiding and complimenting the work carried out by our dedicated electrical team.

The electrical installation of power stands and lighting protection for a new nacelle area has increased the storage capacity for our client.

This completes the mobilisation phase at Formosa 2, and our renewables team will continue to support the project with required safety checks and electrical inspection and testing.

We wish the project team well with the next phase of works.
