Well, what a whirlwind 2022 has been so far at #TeamCASC (and its nothing to do with Dudley, Eunice or Franklin!)!
Our new Trumpf 7000 tube laser arrived via 5 lorries on the morning of Tuesday 18th January 2022, having travelled from industry-leading Trumpf HQ in Germany, closely followed the following week by the arrival of our new Trumpf 3030 Production Laser with its LiftMaster for automatic loading. The install and commissioning of the machines has been completed, and #TeamCASC are busy learning the operational side. Our first production parts from the Tube 7000 were unloaded and delivered to our customer last week, and the 3030 has also been busy, working alongside our existing 1040 to facilitate our increasing production demands.
The arrival of the new machines compliments our existing waterjet and 1040 laser, and ensures that we now have an unrivalled suite of technology, with new features like ecoline for faster cheaper cutting of mild steel, stainless, hardox and aluminium up to 200mm thickness, and tube profile of up to 254mm diameter including bevel cutting, friction drilling and tapping. Couple this with our folding and fabrication teams, we can deliver on any requirement large or small, across the UK and Ireland.
